I have stopped reading the news. This should come as no surprise. It doesn’t really seem like there’s going to be any benefit from reading the news for a while. I skim a few things, but the last thing I need to read at the moment is endless outrage at things we cannot change. This is the America that the majority of Americans want, so let them have it. I am very lucky to be privileged enough to take that position, but we seem to live in a world where everyone takes what they want, so I might as well get mine…even if the thing that I want is to be removed from the noise. Sometimes, you have to hit rock bottom before you can begin recovery.
I’ve thought about writing something about the election, but I don’t really have words for it, so I will rely on the words of others. Here’s a link to a newsletter that pretty much sums up my thoughts. Have a read and enjoy!
