Ridiculous Opinions #175

Every year, our school does something called Viper Venture, where the whole school leaves to engage in various “outside of school” activities. This year, I decided not to go on an out-of-the-country activity and I created my own thing. My brilliant idea was to make a movie! How cool would that be? All of us getting together to make art!
I figured that it was the perfect situation. We had three days to do something neat. I had students who were willing to be a part of the whole thing and could serve as both crew and actors. They were all super-enthusiastic and it would be a fun activity where we could focus on nothing more than creating art.
So, with eleven students in tow, we all converged on my room this week to make that movie. I had written a script, storyboarded the film, and was ready to rock on Monday morning as the students slowly filtered into the room.
