At long last, I can finally announce that the publication of the SECOND collection of Maurice cartoons will be hitting the stands at some point in the future. Sometimes, I like to pretend that I am more famous than I am, so I prepare announcements like this as if the general public has been waiting with baited breath for another collection of Maurice cartoons, when, in reality, I don’t think a single one of you bought the first book. Oh, well…here’s the cover:

The first thing most of you will ask is: What’s the deal with that title? Well, the truth of the matter is that the way I came up with the title is that I just thought of it. That’s all. Those words do not appear in any of the cartoons. There is no significant meaning behind the whole thing. It is not a coded message of some sort. I just thought, That’s a funny title! and I went with it. No more, no less.

I’m putting the finishing touches on the book now, with a bit of commentary with each cartoon. I haven’t decided whether I want the book to be black and white AND color, or just color. If I publish it only in color, then that means that the book is more expensive. But when no one is buying the book in the first place, I guess that’s just the way it will have to be.
