Ridiculous Opinions #159

It is currently 15 degrees Celsius here in Canada right now. I am wearing my 100-year sweatshirt and listening to the Canadian geese on the lake outside of the house. The sun is bright and I have absolutely nothing planned for the day besides creating a new Maurice cartoon and writing this newsletter.
And I have nothing to say today.
Actually, I’m a blabbermouth, so I’ve always got something to say. I finished a second screenplay this week, this one for an actual full-length film. I finished one last week called Samantha and George. It was an adaptation of my novel, Samantha and George (& Zooey), a book I wrote around 2004 (?) and only got around to publishing this last year. It’s about two high school friends who end up acknowledging their feelings for each other a bit too late and end up together one last night before they leave for university. Eight years later, he goes back to his hometown to find he has a daughter. Hilarity ensues.
