Ridiculous Opinions #152

Okay, so Abbey graduated last night. That means Tracey and I are Empty-Nesters. In celebration, I will acquire a used Playstation 4 this morning and start devoting myself to video games, fully and completely. The strange part in all of this is that I am not the first person in this household to devote themselves to these time-wasters. No, that title belongs to Tracey, who, even as I write this, is cursing like a crazed person in the corner of the room as she plays “Breath of the Wild” on our Nintendo Switch.
So, what’s happening, Girdner? At the moment, I am waiting for school to end. After the fiasco of my health crisis in March and April, I stepped back (only slightly) from my creative work. I didn’t have the mental capacity to do it. But now, I’m easing my way back into the fold. I kickstarted my Maurice comics back up again. Now, I’m working on a couple of screenplays.
