Welcome to the 150th issue of Ridiculous Opinions! In today’s installment, let me talk about how sad I am. In just a couple of weeks, my youngest daughter, Abbey, is graduating from high school. Harper, of course, graduated two years ago, but Abbey leaving is a bit of a milestone because it means that Tracey and I will officially be empty-nesters.

This is a strange position to be in. Though I know parents around the world have gone through this kind of thing millions of times, pain is relative, and my pain in all of this is significant. I don’t know what it will be like to have an empty house.
