I am a walking contradiction.

I constantly crave new things, while at the same time, I prefer routine. This is the conundrum that I find myself in as we start this new school year. We started school this week and I found myself with groups of familiar students while simultaneously teaching a whole new group of kids. I guess my students embody that contradiction as well.

For the students that I have had up to this point, I will simply say that it was great to have them back in the mix. We didn’t have to do a lot of the get-to-know-you games that we have engaged with in the past. We all new each other and we slipped back into the old routines within a class period.
