Last night I went to see a film called “The Green Knight”. It’s based on the medieval text “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight”, which is something I read in either high school or university…I’m not really sure. Here’s the trailer:

You might be fooled by the trailer, which makes the film look more exciting than it actually is. What the film actually was was a slow meditation on being…mediocre. That’s really the only way to describe it. It was slow, confusing, ponderous, and needlessly deep.

And I loved it.
