Well, it’s 4:51 AM.

We arrived in Abu Dhabi a little more than 24 hours ago and as you might surmise, I am jetlagged. I’ve been up since 12:47 AM. In that time, I ate a meal at McDonalds, watched a documentary on Netflix about the Malice in the Palace, and watched Bo Burnham’s “Inside” for a second time (it’s even more genius the second time you watch it). Now, I’m tired and I think it’s about time for me to go to bed, but I wanted to be productive, so why not throw a few 4:54 AM thoughts at the computer and see what sticks?

Currently, I’m sitting in my daughter’s room. She doesn’t mind, because, as you can see from the screenshot below, she is far, far away from me. 6939 miles, as a matter of fact.
