On Tuesday night, I received a job offer to teach an online summer course at a university. Very exciting (no, I am not leaving my current job). You will now have to refer to me as “Professor Girdner”, although there is a bit of contention in regard to the term “professor”, which I think is stupid, because some people like the hierarchical structure of titles, just like some people love the British royal family…but I digress…
