It’s Friday morning, March 5th. I don’t know if any of you know this, but Donald Trump and I have a lot in common. We’re both strikingly good-looking. Both of us are considered fine leaders by many people. But most importantly, we both have a shocking Diet Coke addiction. You see, Diet Coke just hits all the right buttons for me, especially here in the Middle East, where Diet Coke has a different flavor than in North America. You laugh, but it’s true. That extra flavor is heroin, and it has made me addicted. I am addicted to Diet Coke. I am an addict. I have been drinking a Diet Coke at breakfast almost every day since the start of the year.

So, this week, I quite drinking Diet Coke. And the results of that are that I have had a headache for several days and haven’t slept well since it all began. What lessons have I learned from this?
