Hello Everyone! Some Exciting Updates to share below!

#Vacay

Most important (at least to me) is that I’ll be out on vacation 9/8-9/12. You’ll be in good hands with none other than my son Seamus McCollester! He’s a recent CS grad from Clemson and has been helping me with support for y’all since January!

He’ll be monitoring support chat online as well as [email protected]. Please each out, say hello, and let him know if you need anything, including anime recommendations!

Multiple Bank Account Support

We can now send the revenue from different License types, Permit Fees, or Planning Fees to different bank accounts!

This requires setting up an additional Stripe Account attached to the new bank account to which you want to send funds. Once that’s done we add the account and it’s corresponding bank account to GovPossible and tie the license types to the new account. This takes a team effort so email me if you’re interested!

We’ve Added A Finance Module!

You may have looked at the picture above and asked your self “Self, what’s this screen with Banks, Funds, and Fiscal Periods?” Well, we now have a Finance Module!

From the time we started taking transactions five years ago(!), we setup a full-featured ledger behind the curtains with gl accounts and transaction safety to make sure we followed the accounting formula. You’ve seen glimpses of it when you perform a reversal or look at the associated GL transactions to a charge.

In addition to the ledger, we’ve added:

• Accounts Payable
  

  

• Bank Reconciliation

  

• Budgeting

  

• Auditor Access

You’ll notice we don’t have Accounts Receivable (outside of the miscellaneous charges you already know and… love?) or Purchasing… yet! Our goal was to start with the bare necessities for our smallest customers and grow from there.

We’ve had two customers now using it in their daily operations for six months. If you’re:
