The slow, sacred work of returning

Hi friends,

I’ve been noticing a common thread among the women I sit with.

At some point, they realized they had spent years doing the “right” things—the things they thought they were supposed to do.

They became who they imagined others wanted them to be.

They listened closely to the voices around them: the expectations, the roles, the messages about who they should become.

And slowly, often without realizing it, they stopped listening for the Still Small Voice within.

The voice of God that had been gently guiding them all along.

The nudges.
The holy desires planted deep within their hearts.
The quiet invitations toward a life that felt more true.

Until something made it impossible to ignore.

An illness.
A deep ache.
Distress in the mind or body.
A longing they could no longer silence.

They began to recognize that somewhere along the way, they had become disconnected—not only from themselves, but from the God who created them and was still inviting them home.

Many describe it as feeling like their lives had been tied up in a perfect little bow.

Beautiful.
Accomplished.
Everything they thought they were supposed to want.

Until they realized the bow had become a knot.

And then the unraveling begins.

The slow, sacred work of returning.

Returning to God.
Returning to the voice that has never stopped speaking.
Returning to the woman they were created to be.

The work of asking:

Who am I, really?
What do I truly long for?
Where is God inviting me now?
Who was I created to become?

This is the work I’m here for.

To sit with women in the unraveling. To create space for listening, discernment, and the gentle discovery of where God is already moving.

I am here for the sacred process of returning to her.

Not becoming someone new, but remembering the woman God created her to be.

And this is my journey, too.

I am not standing outside of this work offering directions from a distance. I am walking this path alongside you—learning to listen, learning to trust, and returning again and again to the Mysterious Love of God that has been present all along, calling us back to who we were created to be.

If you find yourself in a season of unraveling, longing, or listening for what God might be inviting you into next, perhaps this is your invitation to pause and pay attention.

Spiritual companionship is a 9-month journey of learning to listen more deeply—to yourself, to your life, and to the movement of God within and around you.

Throughout this journey, you’re invited to slow down, discern what is true, and notice the ways the Mystery is gently calling you home.

If you feel drawn to this, you’re invited to explore more and apply at the link below. The application is simply a first step in discerning together whether this feels like the right fit.
