A Summer Season of Sanctuary
Hi friends,
I think most of you know that we welcomed our son, baby Simon, into the world about a week ago. (Click here for pictures on Instagram.)
You may also know that I experienced serious complications during birth. What was meant to be a home birth became an induction, which became an emergency c-section. I suffered a massive hemorrhage, and to save my life, the medical team moved quickly to perform an emergency hysterectomy. This is how mothers die during childbirth.
I’m stable now and getting stronger — and feeling more like myself — every day. Recovery will be a journey, and there’s a lot to process here.
One question I’ve been sitting with is when I would feel ready to return to holding space for others. For a moment, I thought I might put this summer’s Sanctuary circle on hold to give myself (and us) more space to recover. But when I sat with it, I realized that creating this kind of space is part of what helps me recover. It brings me life.
So, I’m moving forward with a summer season of Sanctuary, and I’d love for you to join us if it feels right.
Sanctuary
A small, intentional circle for women longing to slow down, listen inward, and be with what’s real in their lives alongside others doing the same.
Together, we gather for contemplative practice, reflection, and honest conversation in a space with no pressure to perform, fix, or have it all figured out.
A place to come exactly as you are.
Wednesday evenings, 6–7:30 pm
6/10, 6/24, 7/8, 7/22, 8/5, 8/19
$300 for the season
Sliding scale available, no questions asked. Payment plans are available as well.
If you’d like to learn more about Sanctuary and this summer’s circle, you can do that here:

And if the timing of this particular circle doesn’t work for you, I’d still encourage you to fill out the interest form on the website. If there’s enough interest, I may open another circle on a different day/time.
With care,
Georgia Lynn
