Friends, We Have Beef
Literally and metaphorically, we have beef. We would humbly suggest from out on the range that it’s past time to do some mending, take some care, and nourish each other. We have more in common than we may realize, and it serves only the extremes to forget the center.

Your heart and your gut are your connected center, as water and electricity flow between. Nourish your flow, nourish our community, nourish our land and water.
2026 Quarter and Side orders are now open!
Old School Pricing Returns for 2026:
Quarter: $7.25/lb hanging (carcass) weight, plus butcher fees
Half/Side: $7.25/lb hanging (carcass) weight, plus butcher fees
Flat rate pricing was nice and simple, but steer sizes do vary a bit. Deposits remain the same, and the balance is due prior to pickup, as soon as we have the weight list from harvest.
Our quarters and sides will be available for pickup in Santa Rosa May through September, and you’ll get your harvest date when you place your order and your deposit is confirmed. Quantities are limited, and we will sell out well before harvests begin. Prepare that extra freezer for yum!
Beef by the cut is available at Bill’s Farm Basket, Community Market of Sebastopol, and Bodega Country Store. Boxes for preorder and pickup - plus home delivery via Trellus! - will be available soon. Stay tuned for details.
Who’s your butcher?
Our beef is cut at two legendary Sonoma County shops: Willowside and Lepe’s. We love them both and we want to sing it! Today we profile Willowside, where most of our quarters and sides are cut. Next month we launch box sales and profile Lepe’s. Delicious!
Willowside Meats is a Sonoma County legend, founded in the 1960’s to offer on-farm harvest, and skilled shop based cut and wrap. Buying a quarter or a side from a neighbor is a long standing tradition, and we are so grateful that it’s alive and well right here in Santa Rosa!
A toast to Chris, JT, Rudy, and all the crew with deep gratitude for all you do.

Wishing you all the quiet beauty of the season.
