Day 113. Longest day of the year — the sun refuses to quit, and so, apparently, does this war. I’ll give the deal the one thing that’s ever mattered to me: the tankers are moving. CENTCOM counted twenty-five crossings through Hormuz on Thursday, and that’s a number I can’t argue with. Ships move — that was always the test, and they passed it. Everything else is still paper: a “signed MOU” that’s really a 60-day window to a maybe-end, a Lebanon truce the US and Qatar had to re-broker through Tehran before it took the whole thing down, a formal signing that already collapsed once and now needs Witkoff and Kushner flying to Switzerland to revive it. I’m glad the oil’s flowing. Not glad enough to call it over. Leave the bottle.
