From the Editor
Day 94, and the talks are off. Iran’s negotiating team suspended all exchanges with Washington this morning after Israel ordered strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs — the heaviest escalation in the capital since the truce began. The MOU that was “two signatures away” on Friday now has no return date. Oil read the room before equities did: WTI jumped six percent past $92 before the opening bell while the S&P barely flinched. That gap between what crude sees and what stocks see has been the tension underneath every week of this war. Today it widened. June opens harder than May closed.
