what is formyths doing

still not a lot going on but here's your regular update (+ some tabling news).

art ✎

in the shimmering darkness of a strange jungle, a tiger curls atop a pile of broken machinery

strange dreams - an companion illo for FAR DISTANT, available as an 8x10in offset print! you'll be able to get these up wherever bulgilhan press is tabling, and i'll also be selling copies in person.

an illustration: brutalist concrete structures rise in the foreground. a damaged mech, wires spilling like guts, is visible through their pillars, rising against a cloudy sky.

shell - this was supposed to be my one personal illo for april but i finished it mid may..

a grid of pencil drawings: a lost item unexpectedly returned, something growing in the fog, a phrase passed on, and consecration of the birds.

new grid notebook new pseudo-journal project - the theme for this one is "signs and omens" or "whatever i feel like drawing" and i'll be posting pages on patreon.

other stuff ✷

a photo of a dream journal 2022 book on a warm grey blanket

after a prolonged production mishap i finally have the dream journals in my hands... 6x4.5in, 70 pages with 67 of my fave dream drawings.

possibly will look into shipping these later on but in the meantime you'll be able to get them in person at:

brooklyn art book fair june 2-4 - i'll be helping out at the endless editions table + will have some copies there!

frog farm fair june 17 - i'll have the dream journals, everything you will forget, + maybe? a new very short drawing zine

also thanks so much to everyone who contributed to/shared/posted about the FAR DISTANT campaign! we are fully funded so keep an eye out for updates from bulgilhan.
