Cloudflare Moves to Make AI Companies Pay for Publishers' Content
Cloudflare set a September 15 deadline for AI companies to separate the crawlers they use for search from the ones they use for training, with mixed-use crawlers blocked by default on ad-supported sites. It turns the network into a toll gate for the content economy and shifts the burden onto AI firms to declare, and pay for, what they take. |
