Happy Monday!

I'm a day late with this week's essay, but it's been a strange week, of course. It's been a while since I've been able to concentrate on much other than the "refresh" button on my web browser, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

What a relief to now not need to think about politics for the next four years.

Well, maybe not, but perhaps we can take a short break? At any rate, here is a non-political essay that starts with a look at some paranormal investigations performed right here in my very neighborhood and just gets better from there.
