Correction: Your June update from EntryThingy
June update correction
EntryThingy interface got a full rebuild
We heard from a lot of you that the old design needed work, so we started over.
The new version has a consistent visual design throughout: clear layouts, obvious next steps, and large buttons so you always know where you're supposed to go.
We also added new functionality on top of the redesign: custom call statuses to track where a call is in your workflow, custom questions on your application to ask artists exactly what you need, and more extensive coupon options for discounts and access control.

Square is now supported. PayPal is no longer your only option.
Until recently, EntryThingy only supported PayPal. We know that was a problem. PayPal is not universal, and some of you had to create workarounds just to reliably collect entry fees. We fixed this.
Square is now fully supported. You connect your Square account once and payments go directly to you. No manual work and no workarounds. For setup instructions, check our help center.
Custom questions: now available
Custom questions help you collect information that matters to your review process without creating unnecessary friction for artists.
Ask for the information you'll actually use when reviewing submissions, whether that's an artist statement, website, career stage, or something specific to your call.
Keeping applications focused makes them easier for artists to complete while still giving jurors the information they need.

When you post a call on EntryThingy, we now match it against our artist list using a ranking system built in-house. It looks at medium, location, and other factors to find artists who are the right fit for your specific call.
We don't blast every call to every artist. We focus on fit. Our email list is now over 15,000 artists, and we're seeing encouraging results: an uptick in submission quality, application rates, and new gallery discovery.
That’s because we understand how important reputation is, both yours and ours. That's why we're focused on connecting quality artists with quality opportunities rather than simply selling visibility. Calls are matched and promoted based on relevance, not payment.
Our goal is connecting galleries with artists who are genuinely the right fit. That’s what we want to achieve. We believe this philosophy leads to stronger submissions, better opportunities, and better outcomes for everyone.
Download exactly what you need for your show, nothing more
The old version gave you a handful of preset download formats. If none of them matched what your team needed, you had no other option.
That's now fixed. The new custom downloader puts you in control. Pick exactly which artist, artwork, jury, and application fields you want to export, then download only the data you need.
Whether you're preparing for installation, reviewing jury results, running post-show analytics, or pulling a list for your registrar, you get exactly what you need, nothing more.

If you haven't been on the platform recently, log in and take a look. The biggest visible changes are in the call dashboard and the payment settings.
