Taking an L
On admitting defeat.
My brain has felt very smooth lately, I have to admit. For example, on Monday, I left my home with the express purpose of running an errand that required I bring some paperwork and a check to City Hall, and arrived there having discovered I’d come with neither? This was very stupid, and while I could have walked home and back again, I decided it would just be better to go to the library, get a gratuitous iced latte, and try again another day.
This is a long way to say: Did I write my way to an Enthusiasm while intending to apologize for not having one ready this week? I suppose winning and losing are two sides of the same of the coin.
