Weekly reviews of regular stuff.
I started Enthusiasms as sort of a challenge to myself: I wanted to be writing more, so what if I wrote a weekly review of a regular thing?
Over the years, it’s evolved a bit in my mind into an exercise in appreciating the ordinary. (Some might even call this “journaling.”) I consider things large and small and in between, like: When All the Trees Are in Bloom, Dance Dance Revolution, and Lanternflies.
Every Friday, a new Enthusiasms reaches your inbox via Al Gore’s internet. It’s usually pretty short and occasionally proofread in haste.
Enthusiasms is written by me, Jamie Burke.
