Intermission
Yesterday, I had every intention of coming home from work and sitting down to write. But then, I had two beers at the end of what was an all-day work event and biked the eight miles home, fueled by a few measly passed apps and an emergent need to pee. I felt like a husk of a person and, after shoveling some Trader Joe’s hatch chile mac and cheese into my face, I just got into bed.

The best-laid plans of mice and men, etc. So, rather than squeegeeing something out of my brain at the last minute, I’ll share this: thirty-one minutes of ambient sailboat noise from the 1970s album series, Environments.
Enjoy the break (with noise-canceling headphones, if you can).
