A year in songs.

This little end-of-year missive is coming in just under the wire—blame our family bout of norovirus over the holidays for delays in, well, everything.

Thank you all once again for hanging around for another year of Enthusiasms. I gotta say: at the start of 2025, it was tough to keep coming here to write about little things, and I wasn’t sure I would make it. But I did! And I remain committed as ever to this silly little project! A big part of that is you, the folks who get and read this. It truly means the world to me to have this little community here on the big ol’ internet, and a little space to get what’s in my head out.

Without further ado, here’s the playlist for 2025, featuring every song at the end of this year’s Enthusiasms. I realized, looking back, it’s pretty Pete Seeger-heavy, which is both a reflection of the times and look into my life as a parent (we love Pete!). Either way, I think it’s apt: the work continues, and we’re gonna win.
