On digging up the past.
I prefer the British version—both the US and UK are available to play, for free, 24/7 on our TV and it is my go-to when I want to watch something but not too much. I just like the way the English take in the news. So many staggering numbers received with a stilted oh my.
All those long-cherished items and the precious things of unknown provenance that landed in their laps. The unassuming charity shop finds that, well, it just called to me. Everything ferried through the years—sometimes so long, it’s almost forgotten. Brought out from the back of the drawer and into the light of day.
Plus, almost universally, whether it’s worth thousands of pounds or next to nothing, the answer is the same. Of course, I’d never let it go, they say. It means the world to me.
