Is it safe to assume you can have blood flow to the genitals from generic arousal such as stress, fear, anger and all the other emotions you mentioned? And that blood flow to the genitals specifically from general arousal does not necessarily mean one has a sensitive accelerator?
This is very popular in the ocd community and known as the groinal response, and I don't think that everyone experiencing this has a sensitive accelerator. While I understand that stress, anxiety and depression can activate the brakes- especially in a cognitive way- once can still get a physical response, whether strong or not, from generic arousal and the emotions you mentioned.
