Dealers’ Applications are open

We’re excited to announce that applications for the dealers and fan table space at the convention are now OPEN!

We have captured some of the common inquiries about participating at the convention in a FAQ page. Please have a read through and don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any further questions. We are pleased to confirm that ½ tables and add-on 'traders only' passes will be available.

We would also very much like to encourage and support collective applications where this is an option that suits your needs. We have opened a dealers channel on the fan community Discord and encourage you to connect and contribute to discussion there with other potential dealers. 

Mobility scooter hire Expression of Interest

We know that some of you find it hard to move around convention venues without assistance. If think you may need a mobility scooter at the convention, then please fill out our Mobility Scooter Expression of Interest Form. It doesn’t commit you to anything, but it lets us know your requirements.

In terms of planning for those who need scooters for assistance: the lift refurbishment is well underway and our aim is to keep clear the mezzanine path from the lifts to the upper convention spaces. We also aim to keep the door from the hotel restaurant to the function suite conservatory open, to provide a shorter path from the hotel to the ground floor convention spaces.

Come meet us!

We have a busy few weeks of convention appearances. We will have fan tables at the following conventions:

Octocon — The National Irish Science Fiction Convention — being held on the 3rd and 4th October at the Clayton Hotel Cork City, and online.

Fantasycon 2026 — 9th to 11th October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow.

PictCon 2 — 17th October at the Saluation Hotel in Perth

Novacon - 6th to 8th November at the Palace Hotel in Buxton.

At each of these conventions, we’ll have members of the team, leaflets, ribbons, and other things to give away on our table. Come meet us, talk to us, and find out more about the convention from us!

Will you help promote Unconfined near you?

There is one easy thing you could help us with in order to promote Unconfined as widely as possible — give leaflets and posters out near you.

Is there a bookshop, or a library, or a games store or something similar, that would be willing to display a poster or a stack of leaflets? Would you be willing to drop them off there? Please let us know and we will send some out to you.

Newsletter Admin

When you join Unconfined, you choose to have sent to you all communications or essential updates only. We are proposing to send out each Progress Report (maximum of four before the convention) plus final details to all members. All other newsletters — around one a month — will be sent to those who have chosen to receive all communications.

If you are a member of the convention and wish to change how often you receive mail from us, please log into the registration system and update your choice.
