Our grand opening of the Dropped Stitch Finished Project Hall of Fame is this Saturday, September 26! Stop by anytime during store hours (11 to 6) to see what your fellow stitch-droppers have been working on! The projects have been rolling in and we’ve had so much fun seeing all your amazing creations. And if you haven’t submitted yet, there’s still plenty of time: just send us a photo using this form!

Also, we’ve added some new classes to our calendar:

• Crochet Fingerless Gloves (Sundays, November 8, 15, 22): if you’re looking for an attainably small crochet project to work on this fall, or you just want to dress like a badass computer hacker, come make some fingerless gloves with our amazing instructor Jess!

• Knit the Flower Mittens (Tuesdays, December 1, 8, 15): by popular demand, we’re doing another session of this one! These cute little nordic-style mittens are a fabulous introduction to stranded colorwork.

• Knit Your First Sock (Thursdays, December 3, 10, 17): don’t be intimidated - once you start making socks, it’s hard to stop! You’ll learn all the skills you’ll need (ribbing, short rows, picking up stitches, and grafting) to make not just socks, but almost any kind of fitted garment.

• Knitting 101 (Sundays, December 6, 13, 20): it all starts here! We also have availability in our October and November sessions!
