As a reminder, if you would like to run for the Board, candidate statements must be received at BHE by Thursday, July 16. Last year there was controversy as someone tried to run at the very last minute but their statement was not received at BHE by the deadline. If you are thinking of running, don't procrastinate. Make your decision and get your candidate statement submitted now! As usual, there are three open seats. If three or less statements are received by July 16, the election will be decided by acclamation and we will forego the expense of mailing ballots.
