You Can't Keep a Wood Ham Wound
It's January 19. I was going to declare my triumphant return with "you can't keep a good man down," but that just didn't seem very Potpourri.
Double Double Flowers in Towers
These baby's breath (gypsophila) caught my eye at the grocery store. They looked small in the display, so I picked up two bunches. As you can see, they've become one colossus.
It's been terribly cold here; it was 9°F the other morning. But precipitation has mostly dodged Seattle, so these feel like my helping of snow.
I'm still trying to find my writing voice. It's been a bit mute lately. I hope you'll forgive me the short newsletter. Life has been coming at me full bore these days, but I'm acquitting myself pretty well.
All my best to all of you,
—Dara Khan
