We are happy to share a few more confirmed details for Django on the Med 🏖️ 2026.

The event will take place from September 23 to 25, 2026 in Pescara, Italy 🇮🇹

Venue

The sprint room is now confirmed and will be at the Hotel Plaza Pescara (Piazza Sacro Cuore 55, 65122 Pescara)

We will meet for three sprint mornings, roughly from 08:30 to 13:30.

The sprint venue is right in the city centre, very close to Pescara Centrale railway station and the bus terminal.

Of course, you are welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer if you would like
to spend more time in Pescara or explore the area. The event itself will take
place during those three mornings at Hotel Plaza.

Hotel option

Hotel Plaza also offers agreed rates for Django on the Med participants.
Staying there may be the simplest option, because it is the same hotel where
the sprint room is located.

Rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking. Payment is handled directly by each guest.

You are also completely free to book somewhere else. There are many hotels and
B&Bs nearby, including cheaper options and places closer to the seafront. We
suggest choosing accommodation within about 10 minutes on foot from the venue,
so it is easy for everyone to meet in the morning.

With the help of the local Pescara community, we are also planning some
optional afternoon activities and networking moments. We would love to show you
a bit of both the sea and the mountains around Pescara, but we will keep the
details as a small surprise for now.
