My thoughts

The 13th trade paperback volume of IDW's "Sonic the Hedgehog" includes the series' 50th issue, as well as the 2022 annual.
Marvel’s decided to give Moon Girl a new five-issue miniseries, just in time for her upcoming TV show. Issue one reminds us that she’s technically an Inhuman. However, like fellow Inhuman Ms. Marvel, Lunella is more popular than the franchise that caused her origin (sorry, Inhuman “Royal Family”).
“The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries” this month seems to feature a version of Talon, a character from one of DC’s newer Batman concepts, the “Court of Owls.” Wikipedia and Google state it’s a secret shadowy group in Gotham that’s manipulated affairs since the city’s founding, and uses their wealth/assassins to carry out their will. Again, I wonder why, if Gotham’s so awful even with the presence of Batman and a literal army of sidekicks, it’s not a ghost town? Or why most of the population hasn’t fled for the suburbs?
Again, Archie only has a few one-shot floppies out for December: a horror line entry (Jughead as a werewolf, but it’s the holidays), and a standard classic-art-style Christmas story. The latter’s drawn by “Holly G!,” who worked on a series of Sabrina the Teenage Witch stories in the past.
