Visualizing time-based media with gestures

@poetengineer__ is an artist, engineer and researcher who always shares interesting prototypes. This week, they shared an experiment using gestures to interact with time-based media. Built using touch designer and the mediapipe plugin.

WeatherBrush

This project by Aaron Alden is a weekly weather forecast visualized as digital generative art. In what resembles a large brush stroke, the color, shape, style responds to changes in temperature, wind, precipitation and more from 10 weather stations along the Hudson river.
