Brackets are fun (and we offer them on the site!), but auctions drive all kinds of action. If your group has never done an tournament auction (Calcutta) then Degen.club has you covered.

In this style of contest, you auction off all the teams in the bracket. All the winnings bids make up your prize pool. The teams that advance far carve up the prize pool and award those that win their bid.

It has never been easier to set up and run your own auction. Degen.club lets you as an organizer run through the lots and enter in the winning bids. Enter bids yourself OR let all your bidders get online and enter bids through the site. No spreadsheets. It’s that easy.

The site will keep track of the prize pool and what payouts will be. As teams advance, payouts are listed. Keep track of the tourney on the site and you’ll know who blew it all when their high priced bid blows up on the first weekend.

You have a number of options at your disposal

- Structure your payouts - you can award prizes just to the semifinalists, or extend to the quarterfinals or even the last 16
- Drive interest in the lower seeds by paying out a prize to the team with the biggest blowout loss, OR
- Parcel up the #13 through #16 seeds into a Dogs group (one for each region) that makes it easier for people to take a chance
- Enable blind bids where folks who cannot make your live auction can submit a bid before hand. If their bid exceeds the live strike price, they get it but for the whole amount they bid - even if it is twice as much as the live strike price.
