Postkort fra 2046: The Summer Bastian Adopted a Robot
Kære Alma,
Summer holidays! No more school until August, which means I can draw dragons ALL day. I drew one with six wings. That is too many wings, my mum says. She is probably right but it looks cool.
Something happened. The building got a little cleaning robot for the courtyard — it is round and slow and it hums. Bastian HATES it. He sat on the balcony and stared at it for four days. Then yesterday he went down and slept ON it while it charged in the sun. Now they are friends?? I don't understand cats. Do you understand cats?
The robot has a name tag that says "Frede." I asked it a question and it just said "beskeden modtaget." So Frede is not very smart. But Bastian likes warm things and Frede is warm, so.
My dad says when he was little robots were scary in films. Now they mostly just sweep leaves and get napped on. I think that is better.
