Hello and welcome! 🌼
We’re turning our award-winning LGBTQ+ short film DANDELION (starring Ava Lalezarzadeh and Vic Michaelis) into a feature and we’d love to keep ya updated with a monthly newsletter!
What’s the film about, you ask?
Seattle, 1973: After being thrown out of a group home, a rebellious queer teen, Margaret, faces yet another repressive foster placement. Out of options, she's taken to a guarded lesbian activist, Joyce, who's tasked with finding her a new home. At odds and forced to coexist, the two discover a family neither thought possible.
This is where we’ll share the process of bringing this story to life: development updates, history rabbit holes (yes, it’s inspired by true events!), casting news, and the occasional glimpse of how a scrappy indie film actually gets made. We promise it’ll at least be fun (results may vary.)
If that sounds like your kind of thing, drop your email below and come along for the ride.
