THE TERRORDROME BECKONS: JUNE 2026

June 2026: Moving, Manifestos and Beautiful Books.

Happy Pride Month! By which of course I mean Disability Pride Month, as my move has pushed this newsletter out to the first of July.

TERRORDROME DISPATCHES are sent out once a month, and are a great way to keep up with my quirky bullshit.

(I’m also on Bluesky as @cyborgurl.)

LIFE UPDATE:

This month has been really busy as boyfriend and I have found a place and have been prepping for our move. As such I haven’t made a ton of New Things but I have signed the paperwork on several fun new projects I’m excited to tell you about in the coming months!

We have just landed in our new place and are still getting settled in.

The cats seem to like me.

ANNA ANTHROPY PATCH NOTES: JUNE 2026

  • I managed to find some time to write something for this month’s Manifesto Jam over on itch. Annafesto is a one-page collection of principles for one-page TTRPGs. I think it really captures my approach to role-playing game design.

  • Speaking of my TTRPGs, some of them are now available on the hot new site, RPG Trader! They’re the exact same as the ones on itch, and in fact itch takes a smaller cut of sales, but itch also takes weeks to transfer funds so I’m eager to explore alternatives. We’ll see how this goes!

  • Linktree is on some AI bullshit, and was frankly never a very good service to begin with, so I’ve deleted my Linktree page and built my own in HTML. The links on this will change over time as I find new projects to highlight.

A page of links, featuring a beautiful drawing by Sarah Winifred Searle: A fat white femme on a power wheelchair petting a little black cat (me with the late Encyclopedia Frown).
  • We’ve finalized the layout of Princess with a Cursed Sword, bound edition, and expect it to be out in the Fall. I’ve included some preview images below.

PREVIEWS WITH A CURSED SWORD

Note: These images are compressed for space reasons. The physical book (and final pdf) will be Perfect and Gorgeous.

Introduction to the “How to Play” section, featuring an illustration by Evlyn Moreau: A spread of tarot cards representing the Princess, the Magpie and the Bartender, characters from the various games in the book, along with pencils and a bird.
Introduction to the Thaumaturge game, featuring another illustration by Evlyn: A figure in tattered clothing is reading an enormous book, oblivious to the fact that they’re about to fall into a river. A number of objects and animals are floating in the wake of their passage.

Kind of a short one this month, sorry! Moving is hell and landlords are parasites.
