Vol 5 (Dec 28, 2025): NEW WEBSITE

I've got some fresh branding and I am proud of it, darn it!

Y'all have waited long enough: here it is! Announcing my brand new studio name and website: Curious Cat Music Studio! Huzzah!

A black cat silhouette stands with paws perched on dark green serif text reading: "Curious Cat Music Studio."

To promote my studio, I would LOVE pictures of your cats! Please send me your cats so I can give them 500-character text-based lessons and we can post those little kitty lessons to our respective social medias. See end of newsletter for proof of concept. It’ll be grand!

[Hypothetical] FAQ

Q: Okay so why the new website? Why all this hullaballoo?
A: My old website is cute, but "C.E. Aaron Music Lessons" doesn't really... tell people anything, except my name and that they're music lessons. Like, big whoop, y'know? I wanted to highlight what's unique about music lessons with Me, Specifically: that I prioritize curiosity, that connection makes it safe to explore, and that Pudding is a fabulous teacher.

Q: Well, I mean, that is a gorgeous shade of green in your new branding.
A: Thank youuuuuuuuu isn't it delicious?? Like, I liked my lil singing-sunshine thing before but all that yellow was a bit much, even for me.

Q: ...You are also a bit much, and your loved ones wouldn't have you any other way.
A: DAMN RIGHT.

Q: Anyway, so who made the logo? It looks fancy.
A: ME! I made it!! I taught myself two (2) different softwares and I made the thing and I'm freaking proud of it. I genuinely want to buy merch of it, because I'm a sucker for branded merch anyway, and I love my silly little logo. Would you buy merch if I made it??

Q: I would consider it!
A: Okay, seriously,
tell me if you want it and I'll make it happen if enough people do. I don't know whether I'm drunk on my own pride in my work, or if my new logo is genuinely that cute.

Q: Are you still taking students?
A: Yes! A thousand times, yes! I love teaching and I want to do more of it please!

The Harvest Will Come

I spent most of my twenties believing that purpose was something you found once and then held onto. A winning lottery ticket you kept in your wallet forever. The self-help industry reinforced this: find your passion. Discover your why. Land on the thing that makes you leap out of bed

Pudding, the Main Event

As proof of concept for why I want your cat pictures, here is a little lesson for Pudding:

a black cat lying down with mouth wide open, looking like she's singing

Meet Pudding, the mascot of Curious Cat Music Studio! She can be a bit of a scaredy cat sometimes, but when she feels comf, she loves to sing her little heart out.

It's super normal to feel nervous about making music in front of others, including/especially in lessons! I love how online lessons mean that you can get nice and comfy, even lying down to get all the singing-parts lined up. Pudding is taking full advantage, so she sings with a relaxed, open mouth.

That's all for this week! Thank you so much for reading!

With the new year upon us and people making resolutions, I’d be eager to help anyone with musical dreams on their journey in 2026. Passing my shiny new website along to potential students would be a huge help to me! Thank you!

I write and publish stuff because I've been opinionated since birth, and I don't like gatekeeping art or information. With that said: if you happen to have the financial resources and the desire to support my writing, you are welcome to make a contribution via Venmo or PayPal (monthly contribution options not via Patreon are forthcoming). Every small bit adds up, helping keep me and Pudding housed and fed!
