Hello dear Third Wheel,

Micah here! (And Marnina here!)

Tonight, we opened our show Honey Honey Moon Moon at Edinburgh Fringe to an incredibly warm reception. We’ve been traveling for the last month and we’ve landed here for the most exciting and difficult part of the honeymoon. (Every honeymoon needs a difficult part.)

It’s been a lot to juggle: recording our first single in Portugal, taking EdFringe interviews from our friend’s Parisian apartment, and playing our first show outside of California at the Museum of Comedy in London. But it’s already been one of the most amazing experiences of our lives.

We’ve met strangers who recognize us from our videos! (Shoutout to Micah especially for editing tasty content to bring our views into the millions!) A lovely couple from Montreal who stopped us to say “comedy… music… you did a song about your therapist!” And a fellow performer here in Edinburgh who saw us busking and requested we play “People Think We’re Straight”. Several Third Wheels (TM) even saw our opening show tonight.

As this email header promises, we’ll be sharing a Couple o’ Couplet Things, every month or so, as long as we have something new to share.

Couplet Thing #1 is gratitude. (Gooey but true-y.) Gratitude that we can be here at the world’s largest arts festival performing our show every day. It means so much to us to be here, making people laugh and sing along with us. And thank YOU all for believing in us from afar.

Couplet Thing #2 is that our very first single is out TODAY! People Think We’re Straight is now streaming on all platforms. Think of it as a gift to those who can’t make the trip. Is it too late to be a contender for “Song of the Summer"? Probably! (Nah, everyone knows the summer really starts August 1st.)

Shows in LA, shows in New York, Chicago, as many places as possible. (We may not have planned all of this quite yet but that’s the beauty of a honeymoon, we don’t have to think about that. We can just be present, right? Right?) Right!
