Lost something? There’s a chart for that.

How I found my AirPods case, and what we’ve been making easier for your horary work.

Just the other day, I lost my AirPods case. Huge problem because I need headphones at the gym. I would go crazy otherwise. So my friend and I cast a horary chart. First thing that pops out…

The lord of the ascendant is angular and the hour ruler is succedent.

First clue: “Amazing. It isn’t far from me.” Turns out it was tucked under the sheet in my bed. How it got there? Who knows.

Could you imagine fitness without these? 😱

Horary’s cool as hell. But practicing horary with other tools made for natal work can be a real drag. The houses are all different sizes and the emphasis on aspects can distract from planetary condition. And if you’re trying to do this work on a phone? Forget about it.

That’s why we made Cosmic. We wanted a tool you could use anywhere to do your astrology work. How is it different?

Settings already done for you. You know those videos that walk you through Solar Fire or Astro Gold or Jonus to get everything set up just right before you can do your astrology? No more of that. Just select the Cosmic Horary Perspective for a ready-made traditional horary setup. Stop messing around endlessly with knobs and switches.

A screen in Cosmic reading Set your Default Perspective. A perspective is the interpretive lens for your chart. It defines how charts are calculated and displayed based on the astrological approach you follow—whether classical, modern, or another tradition. Your default Perspective ensures your charts open in the framework that best represents your practice. Dropdown: choose your Perspective. Cosmic Horary selected. Regiomontanus houses. Points shown are traditional planets with True Node, Fortune using the day formula, Lilly's Ptolemaic terms, major aspects, planetary …
Correct by default. No more fiddling around with settings.

Standard house charts keep to the tradition. You can now display houses uniformly, following the STA’s chart-presentation guidance.

Take a look right now, even if you don’t have an account. The houses are uniform and things are consistent and easy to read. 👇

Try different approaches. Only want the standard house display for your horary work? Not a problem. Switching your perspective makes different chart displays simple. Still learning horary and want to try different techniques to find what works for your practice? Quickly shift your view to bring new data into focus and try different approaches to see what speaks to you.

Improve your quality of life when making judgements. Read charts clearly on your phone. Check the dispositor’s condition without jumping around the chart. Cosmic is designed to keep things fluid and designed natively for mobile, so you can focus on the judgement, not the tool.
