In our community we have a signal chat that started with a small group of moms who wanted to be involved but had irregular schedules because of having little kids and it sort of spread around to other moms. We just support whatever organizations or groups need help - there is often at least one of us who can attend a local meeting and report back any urgent requests or updates. It’s definitely made me feel less isolated and connected to our community knowing we are able to stay involved and informed.
