๐ Upcoming Pride Hang & Hike at Highland Forest! 6/20 from 12-6PM

Weโre so happy to be back with our second ever Pride month Hang & Hike! Last year was a bit of an experiment, and we were glad that folks came out to hang, and to hike!
Weโll be kicking off at 12pm with grilling and potluck, with some lawn games + arts & crafts available. Weโll also be hosting an all-day clothes swap, feel free to bring any unwanted undamaged clothes or small items, take what youโd like from others, and anything not taken will be donated!
At 2pm weโll have an optional nature ID skill-share, where we take some time to look around and try our hand at some group identification. Weโll have nature guides available!
3pm is hike time (also optional), where weโll take a roughly 3mi trek through some surrounding trails before returning to the shelter.
Weโll be wrapping up the festivities and starting cleanup by 6pm ๐
Even more details on the dayโs plan provided after RSVPing at cnyhiking.lgbt/rsvp. Hope to see you there!
๐ Date: Sunday, June 20th 2026 from 12-6pm
๐ Hike Location: Torbert Shelter, Highland Forest, 1254 Highland Park Rd, Fabius, NY 13063 (Google Maps Directions)
When you enter the park and reach a fork in the road, keep right, park at the parking lot.

Hope to hike with you soon! ๐

Our Last Event - Pride Parade @ CNY Pride!

CNY Pride!!! Thank you so so much to everyone who came out to march in the pride parade with us for the first time! It was such a beautiful day full of amazing people ๐ Always amazing to see the queer community of CNY gather together for pride, it's easy to forget how many of us there are until we overflow the Inner Harbor ๐
Despite the fun... we were missing our favorite hiker, Ryan (@ryskid.art), the one who started the CNY Hiking group himself almost three years ago. He couldn't make it to the parade, so we brought some little Ryan cutouts to march with us. Good luck with your internship this summer!! ๐ซถ
Bottom right photo courtesy of Adam Hyatt, thank you for sending us a shot from the parade!
