Join us in Ithaca for a hike and potluck hosted by one of our hikers. It's become one of our favorite fall traditions! This hike is more strenuous than our usual, so come ready to work for those gorge-ous views and a well earned appetite for the potluck afterwards.

We're capping this one at 20 folks to keep things manageable and make sure everyone fits comfortably, so please RSVP at cnyhiking.lgbt/rsvp for the full details and meeting spot address.

Let us know if you're planning to bring a dish, if you have any dietary restrictions, and if you'll be joining for the hike only or staying for the potluck too. There's no obligation to bring anything, so feel free to hang out either way!

This is one of our more difficult hikes! There will be significant elevation as we navigate the rocky terrain leading to and around the falls. Route is subject to change in case of inclement weather.

Our Last Event - Trash Pickup Nature Walk at Thornden Park

This past Sunday, CNY Hiking teamed up with DeTrash Syracuse (@detrashsyracuse) for our first ever collab cleanup and nature walk at Thornden Park, and wow, did you folks show up! This was the biggest turnout either of our groups has had, and together we picked up 198 lbs of trash along the park's new walking path 🚮

It's easy to underestimate how much difference a couple hours and a lot of hands can make, until you see the big ol' pile at the end. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us give Thornden Park some love 💚
