June 2025 Updates
Discover the origin of Clipboard History Pro, and explore the latest update v3.47.8's amazing features!
Ever wonder how your clipboard manager came to be?
Denis recently shared the story of how he created Clipboard History Pro as a side project, accidentally gained thousands of users (that's you!), and why he eventually passed the torch. You can read the full interview on our blog.
Here’s what’s new in update v3.47.8:
Features & Improvements
Cloud Pro, Now Available Everywhere
You can now access your Cloud items from three places, giving you more flexibility than ever:
The extension

Smarter, Seamless Backups
Importing an old clipboard is now much easier. Your backups will include your saved Tags and Favorites, allowing for a perfect restore. We also adjusted the color of the "favorite" button to make it stand out more when selected. (Thanks to Ali and J for the suggestion!)

Ability to Have a Blacklist of Websites
We heard your feedback that there are some sites you don't want Clipboard History Pro to look at - whether for privacy or convenience reasons.
Now, you can activate a 'Blacklist' in your settings before listing out any domains you don't want us to store your clipboard. Items copied to your clipboard on these sites won't even be visible to us. Feel free to uncheck this setting at any time to de-activate it while still saving the list of domains.

A Cleaner Menu
We’ve decluttered the menu to help you find your favorite features faster. The buttons are better organized, and the layout is streamlined.
A Pro Tip to Save a Click
Head into your settings to change the default behavior of copied text. You can, for example, have any text you copy sent directly to the Cloud automatically:

Staying in Touch
No More Surprise Expirations
The number one reason users lose Pro access is an expired credit card. To prevent this, we will now send a reminder email when your card is about to expire so you can update it without interruption.

From Our Blog
We love learning how you use the extension. We are currently looking to interview people in education about their workflows. If that's you, please email us at support@clipboardextension.com.
We also wrote a guide on how to create text expansion shortcuts, so typing :email
automatically expands to your full email address.
