Title your clipboard history, and fix bugs
Hello everyone,
The past month has been about one thing: giving you more control over your clipboard. That meant chasing down some tricky bugs and, most excitingly, building a feature you've been asking for.
But first, a quick note for our Windows users: We're hunting a stubborn bug where the extension sometimes fails to start. If this has happened to you, please send a quick email to support@clipboardextension.com. Your details could be the final clue we need to solve it for good.
Give Your Clips a Name: Introducing Titles
You save articles, code snippets, and brilliant ideas that are too valuable to lose. But sometimes, the first few lines of text aren't enough to find them again.
Now, you can give every clip a Title.
In the editing pane, just add a title to make your important clips stand out in bold. It’s a simple way to bring order to your history and find exactly what you need, when you need it.
Subscribers will get a sneak peek via email, followed by full roll-outs on the Chrome and Edge stores a few days later.
A Quick Reminder: Your History is Yours Alone
With all this useful information at your fingertips, let's talk security. The Lock feature is your personal vault.
Set a password to lock your history whenever you step away, or have it lock automatically on a timer. Peace of mind is just a click away.
It’s pretty self-explanatory. you can set a password, and either manually lock it whenever you wish, or set a timer to auto-lock after a set interval.
We also tuned the engine and tightened the bolts:
Refined the interface for a smoother, more consistent feel, especially in dark mode.
Squashed a bug that caused a distorted banner to appear at the top of the app.
Fortified the Lock feature so it correctly remembers your password every time.
