hello chimeric ones,
wishing each of you a joyful sunny day today. most beautiful day ever?? i think so…
i’m writing to share a few upcoming offerings. first — tomorrow! in tompkins square park at 8pm, i’m leading a reprisal of new rat city. meet by the hare krishna tree in the central park for a one hour workshop: learn about rats, connect to their sensory world, practice kinship with our urban neighbors. i would love to see yall there! no rsvp, just show up 𓆉

looking further into the future, olivia and i are excited to connect across coasts in our latest collaboration: The Ludic Spiral 𖦹 A Winter Retreat. plenty more information in the link, but if you are feeling called to join a creative retreat full of inspiring workshops, playful games, and all sorts of feeling into our spiralic selves — join us! apply here by sept 30 𓆑
a closer-to-nyc way to connect with the natural rhythms that surround us is coming up as well — join me for a harvest moon potluck and ritual on sept 26, 7pm at fort greene park. gather for a delicious harvest feast — bring an offering for our communal harvest altar: something seasonal and delicious to share with friends and strangers under the rising moon! no RSVP; just show up. and if you’re interested in this and other gatherings, i’ll also plug my events newsletter: the moon bulletin, with dispatches sent every first and third quarter moon ✰

creative ways to gather feed our souls, sometimes both literally and metaphorically. consumption book club was recently mentioned in a new york times article about how we read, together. and we launched zine sales with a redesigned website! check it out, i’m proud of it 𓆣

hope to see you soon,
kyle ✿
