Hey cat people,

Big one today: Smart Detect is here, in beta, with Cats Lock v1.4.

Until now, Cats Lock waited for you to reach for the shortcut. Now it can notice on its own. Smart Detect watches for cat-style typing, the paws-on- several-keys-at-once, rapid scattered nonsense only a cat produces, and locks the keyboard the moment it spots it.

A few things that matter to us:

• It runs entirely on your Mac. Smart Detect never sees what you type. It reads the rhythm and shape of typing, not the words. Nothing leaves your device, ever.
• It's opt-in and off by default. Flip it on in Settings whenever you want it.
• It's in beta, and we mean it. We're trying to predict one of the most unpredictable creatures on earth, so it will get a few calls wrong while it learns. Every auto-lock has a one-tap "That wasn't my cat" button, and your feedback is what makes it smarter.
