Okay, this is MM032. January. 2022. Woah. Seriously woah. Time is an illusion, but woah, it also just disappears — where did my January go? Certainly not into finding readings. I've been watching a lot of Winter Olympics, pondering how its sort of a way-unfair contest most of the time, and thinking how crazy it is that a tiny mountainous country of 5 million people can have won the most all time winter medals... I guess when your ancestors invent a lot of the ski-based sports you're more likely to be the champs? Yes I am talking about Norway…
MM032 seems light. There are a lot of links, but not many PDFs. That typically is my bread and butter, finding PDFs, I guess I didn't have enough interesting to look into the last few weeks? Too many protected academic journals I couldn't figure out how to log into? I have been struggling with a lot of work — well, struggling in getting any work at all done — so maybe this collection just reflects that!?
Included in this collection: There's a new waste and recycling plan for Baltimore, some myths about brain storming, ideas for trying to wrap one's head around novel masking needs and "resiliency" in the face of the continued pandemic, Archivists helping each other understand racism in the context of their archives, work outs for your work from home office, how if you're a terrible procrastinator you are probably just like Leonardo di Vinci, why people believe in conspiracy theories, and Sartre's “No Exit” … amongst other things!
