Spanish digital bank runs a generative-AI assistant on WhatsApp for customers and non-customers
One of Spain's leading digital-first banks.
Bankinter's WhatsApp assistant (live since March 3, newly added to our record) takes questions in natural language and in any language, answering from public information on the bank's website. It runs 24/7, doesn't see private account data and doesn't carry out transactions. Separately, on September 30 the bank added a natural-language assistant to its app and website that points customers to where an operation lives.
How to try it: message Bankinter's official WhatsApp numbers (listed on bankinter.com).

Boulanger's app assistant: early feedback "very encouraging," says Boulanger
Launched at the end of September 2026: the French electronics retailer says early feedback is very encouraging and reports satisfaction with the assistant, which is built to steer shoppers toward repair and longer product life rather than sales offers.
